Snarestone Conery

If you have been down to the Conery recently, you will have seen that two 'table and seat' sets have arrived. In order to assist with mowing and to keep the area looking tidy, these have been set on a bed of chippings, along with some tidying up of the pathway running along the side of the field. This, along with the mowing of the grass, is part of the ongoing maintenance of the Conery which is done on a volunteer basis by the Tote Committee with the funding of the tables, chippings and timber etc. provided by the Parish Council. Here are some pictures taken during the recent 'installation' of the tables. (Many thanks to Paul Barnard for the Pictures)

Starting to dig out the first site.

                         Re-hydrating!

Wondering if we have dug it in the right place!

                 Planning committee

Strimming the length of the pathway.

       After tea, re-enforcements arrive.

                Marking out the second site.

Day two, membrane and boards go down..

Ready for the chippings and then finally the tables go in.
