Our small brick Georgian
Church, situated on the B4116 on the west
side of the village, is a warm, welcoming
and friendly place of worship. At various
times of the year, social events take place
which aim to involve and entertain the
whole community, notably our Harvest Supper
“Variety Show” every October. The interior
of the church was modernised in 2001 and we
enjoy comfortable seating and a carpeted
floor. At the time of writing (Jan 2011) we
are in the early stages of a new project to
provide the church with kitchen and toilet
facilities. Planning permission is being
sought, and we are continuing to raise the
funds required.
Our worship ranges from the
traditional to the informal. Since 2008 we
have been holding “Community Worship” on the
third Sunday of every month. This service is
entirely organised and led by village
residents of all ages, and something
different and lively every month can be
guaranteed!
