Snarestone Summer Fair

Summer Fair, 26th August 2007

Thank You!!

The Summer Fair committee met for the last time this year to wrap up business on this years event and would like to say a big Thank You to everyone involved. To the everyone who helped on the day and made things happen, to everyone who donated prizes and 'stuff' for all of the stalls, to the sponsors who supported us with prizes, donations and programmes, to the kids who made the effort to dress in fancy dress,to the bands who made the evening such a great night and particularly to everyone who came and joined in on the day. The weather was superb too, helping to make it a special day, as if the Snarestone Summer Fair had never gone away!

Proceeds from the day reached £1500 which will be put to use both towards the construction of a footpath across the Conery and also towards the completion of the Pavilion.

Special Thanks to Dom and his team at The Globe for their support throughout the day and evening.

Here are some images of the summer fair, held this year for the first time in 7 years, in glorious sunshine on the Bank Holiday Sunday.

Very special thanks to our "Events Photographer", Mr Paul Barnard for capturing these images.
